Angelica
Angelica archangelica
The deeply divided leaves are borne on thick round, hollow stems. The flowers, are small and numerous, yellowish or greenish in colour, are grouped into large, umbels, followed by pale yellow, oblong fruits.
Growing Tips: It is a strong grower that lasts for about two years. It has large umbels of white flowers that produce seed which will fall and germinate giving an ongoing garden presence.

Use: Young Leaves- have a warm spicy celery flavour. Add sparingly to salads. Dried Leaves- delicate tea substitute. Stems- are added to stewed fruit or candied for cake decorations.
