Aquilegia 'Goldfinch'

HAT COLOUR: Yellow

SPECIAL QUALITIES: ‘Goldfinch’ is one of the well bred Songbird Series of aquilegias. It has an upright floriferous habit and will flower in cool weather.
 

FLOWERS: The yellow, typical Granny’s Bonnet flowers will appear through spring

PLANTS NEEDED PER SQUARE METRE: 9-10

HABIT:  An upright perennial plant with maidenhair like leaves and flowers held above the foliage.

POSITION & USES: Grows in well cultivated garden soil in sun or light shade. Suited to a cottage or flower garden dotted amongst other perennials.
 

CULTIVATION: An easily grown plant. Cut the flowering stems down to the leaves when flowers finish
 

FERTILISING: Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed during spring and autumn will keep it looking its best.
