FLOWERS: The double pink flowers are produced in late spring.
PLANTS NEEDED PER SQUARE METRE: 5 to 6
HABIT: A clump forming perennial which produces a cluster of attractive leaves and lovely flowers on strong stems.
POSITION & USES: Columbines will grow well in sun or light shade in normal garden soil. Plant in blocks or drifts among other spring flowering perennials.
CULTIVATION: Incorporating organic matter into the soil will be beneficial. Cut to the ground during winter to promote fresh spring growth.
FERTILISING: Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed during spring and summer will keep it growing well and looking its best.
