Basil Bush

Ocimum minimum

Bush basil is much smaller than its sweet basil cousin, because of its small size bush basil can easily be grown indoors in pots.

Growing Tips: Prefers well drained sunny position in the garden or in large pots. Can be kept on a sunny kitchen window sill for easy access. It is a tender plant that needs to be kept warm.

Position: Part to Full Sun

Height: 50cm Width: 40cm

Lifespan: Annual

Use: To enjoy maximum flavour pick and add leaves just prior to serving. Bush Basil has cinnamon, clove and aniseed aromas. It has a milder flavour than Basil Sweet.

Harvest: Regularly, the more you harvest the more it will produce. If kept warm and harvested often you may even get 10 months worth of Basil leaves.
