Ceratostigma Griffithii

HAT COLOUR – Blue           

SPECIAL QUALITIES-  China Blue is a very attractive mounded shrubby plant, densely leaved and massed with flowers in season.

FLOWERS-The 5 cent sized blue flowers appear in late summer and autumn and cover the entire bush

PLANTS NEEDED PER SQUARE METRE- 1-2

HABIT- A dense, twiggy shrubby plant, evergreen in warm climates and deciduous in cold climates. It has masses of small dull green leaves tinged purple at the margins.

POSITION & USES-Prefers full sun or light shade in well drained good garden soil that is not allowed to dry out completely in dry periods.

CULTIVATION-Deep water in mid summer and a very hard prune after flowering

FERTILISING-Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
