Geranium Lemon

Pelargonium crispum

This plant is a lemon-scented, shrubby, upright pelargonium with pale pink flowers and crinkled leaves. Works quite well for topiary because it produces dense heads of foliage. Crispum means curled or wavy and describes the edges of these plants’ small, crinkled, lemony leaves.

Growing Tips: Plant in almost any well drained spot in the garden and does well in poor dry soils and exposed positions. Plant near paths for pleasant fragrance.

Position: Part to Full Sun

Lifespan: Perennial

Use: Add crushed leaves to cakes, biscuits, desserts, custard, jellies and jams. Add dried leaves to pot-pourri, sachets, sleep pillows and moth repelling mixes for cupboards. Add sprigs of leaves to your tea to add that mouth watering flavour.
