Papaver ruprifragum  ‘Tangerine Gem’

SPECIAL QUALITIES- ‘Tangerine Gem’ is a wonderfully attractive plant with oodles of double, tissue paper tangerine blooms, which is a fairly unusual colour in modern gardens.

FLOWERS- Masses of papery tangerine flowers in summer.

PLANTS NEEDED PER SQUARE METRE- 9

HABIT-    Compact plant with 60cm tall flower spikes

POSITION & USES- Mixed in a perennial garden, rockeries or as an edge to pathways.  Well drained soil in full sun is ideal.

CULTIVATION- Remove dead flower heads and foliage.

FERTILISING- Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
