SPECIAL QUALITIES: A compact growing form of Jacob’s Ladder with attractive ferny foliage.
FLOWERS: The small blue flowers form in clusters on the ends of short stems in late spring and summer.
PLANTS NEEDED PER SQUARE METRE: 7-8
HABIT: A clump forming perennial plant with dense ferny foliage which emerges from the base.
POSITION & USES: Plant in a sunny or semi shaded position in well drained, fertile soil. Suited to the front of a flower bed or in pots by itself or with other perennials.
CULTIVATION: Incorporate organic matter and mulch to retain moisture and cut foliage to the base in winter to promote fresh growth for the following spring.
FERTILISING: Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
