Sage Clary

Salvia sclarea

A small growing , short lived sage from southern Europe with white to lilac flowers in summer.

Growing Tips: Prefers a well drained location. Short lived perennial that looks good in any general cottage garden bed or along a border planting.

Position: Full Sun

Height: 35cm Width: 40cm

Lifespan: Perennial

Use: It has a subtle sage flavour. The flowers and young leaves can be used in teas, jellies and various drinks. Adds a savory flavour to sweet and tangy foods.

Harvest: Harvest when needed
