Salvia Splendens - Salvia Salmon

HAT COLOUR: Apricot

SPECIAL QUALITIES: Appealing flowers of a delicate salmon-pink shade. Easy to grow and almost always in flower in the warmer climates.

FLOWERS: Attractive salmon flowers in 10cm head that cover the bush for most of the year.
 

PLANTS NEEDED PER SQUARE METRE: 4-5
 

HABIT: A soft stemmed shrubby Salvia that matures in the first season.

POSITION & USES: Plant in mass in a large cottage bed or as an edging plant along a path for a colorful year round display. Enjoys warm sunny areas preferably in a coastal or airy location. Any well drained soil is suitable.

CULTIVATION: Prune off spent flowers to encourage re-flowering. A medium prune in late summer will help it keep its shape.

FERTILISING: Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
